Do you offer telehealth therapy in Arizona?
 

Yes, we do! We can provide virtual services from anywhere in the state.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we currently accept new clients with insurance plans through Aetna and Cigna.

Delilah is in the process of getting in network with BCBS, UHC, and some EAPs, and we look forward to being able to accept these insurance plans in the near future.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

We have a limited sliding scale that we are able to offer clients based on individual financial difficulty and necessity.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is for everyone! Everyone has struggles and could benefit from therapy. Our services are tailored specifically to what your concerns are and we strive to help you create therapy goals that are attainable so you never feel defeated or like our time together is pointless. Our therapists are able to assess your needs each session and help you to explore what is clinically appropriate. We help you break through the avoidance to ensure that goals are addressed and we accept any feedback you have to ensure that our approach works for you.

What does trauma therapy involve?

Trauma therapy focuses on helping individuals process difficult experiences while building coping strategies and emotional safety.

Will therapy help my depression and anxiety?

While there are no guarantees that therapy will help with any mental health struggles, generally people who attend sessions regularly, implement the skills they are taught, and have trust in their therapist will find therapy beneficial to their mental health and experience decreases in symptoms.

What ages do the therapists see?

Richard sees clients as young as 11 years old and Delilah sees clients 16 years and older. Therapists may make an exception to these standards on a case-by-case basis and offer a 15 minute complimentary consultation to ensure goodness of fit.

What is perinatal mental health?

Perinatal mental health refers to the mental health issues that folks who are pregnant or who have given childbirth experience. A common heard phrase referring to perinatal mental health is post-partum depression, but other experiences can including post-partum anxiety and trauma. Our therapist Delilah has a special focus on this area!

How do I know if I have trauma?

Everyone's experience is different and trauma impacts each of us uniquely. While you may not qualify for a PTSD diagnosis, trauma may still impact you if you have difficult sleeping, big waves of emotion, avoidance of people, places, or topics, self-sabotage, have negative self-talk, or struggle in relationships. These are all common experiences that could be symptoms of trauma or another mental health struggle. The only way to know for sure is to be seeing by a mental health professional.

What does safe space mean?

When we say safe space, we mean a space that is inclusive and welcoming. We are able to serve folks of all identities in the community, and have a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community. We advocate for this population and are affirming and our staff and therapists have a unique understanding of the queer experience. It is important to us that our communities to have safe spaces where marginalized communities feel welcome and validated.
